Immediate former Economic Advisor to President William Ruto, Moses Kuria, has warned that people around the Presidency are spoiling for the Kenya Kwanza govt ahead of the upcoming 2027 general election.
Speaking to Citizen TV’s Sam Gituku on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, Moses Kuria said that the people of Mt Kenya region feels that there is a well-orchestrsted scheme by a section of govt officials to demonise the Mt Kenya region just because of a fault of (maybe) one person.
On the 2027 general election, Moses Kuria disclosed that the region will vote as a Block to one person (possibly not Rutok) because of leaders like Aden Duale, Oscar Sudi and William Kamket who have been making uttering remarks that negatively target the Kikuyu Community ahead of the poll.
In his message, Kuria said the region won’t be needed to field any of the positions in the Deputy President or the President but will be willing to vote for someone who will champion the economic recovery.
