Former Tahidi High actress Angel Waruinge, popularly known as Miss Morgan, has opened up about the highs and lows of her career and the life lessons she has learned along the way. Speaking candidly, the 43-year-old revealed that her time on the popular TV drama was both financially rewarding and life-changing, but admits she may have taken some of those moments for granted.
At the peak of her career, Waruinge was earning approximately KSh 100,000 per month, a figure that allowed her to live a comfortable lifestyle. She recalled buying her first car at the age of 26 in cash and starting investments at a young age. However, she now admits that she made several poor financial decisions during that period.
“I started making money and investing when I was very young. I bought my first car when I was 26, cash money. I started making wrong choices because you think everything is permanent,” she said.
Waruinge explained that she often spent lavishly, focusing on ticking items off her bucket list rather than long-term stability. One such decision was going on an extravagant holiday to Malaysia, which she now equates to the value of a piece of land.
Despite the regrets, she acknowledges that those experiences were fun and memorable, though extreme in hindsight. She now views them as valuable lessons, emphasizing that “everything is seasonal” and financial prudence is crucial for lasting security.
