Gerald Mwangi is a US-based businessman originally from Kangema in Nyeri, Central Kenya. He has a net worth of Ksh23 billion and is the president of a mechanical contracting company. He also holds positions in various non-profit organisations.
Mwangi began his academic journey at the University of Nairobi with a Bachelor of Commerce before moving to the US. He later earned a degree in Construction Engineering Management from East Carolina University in 1999.
After graduating, he joined CompUSA as a project manager in the HVAC Mechanical Building Construction Division. His leadership skills and passion for machines helped him rise to vice president before leaving in 2006.
