A section of Kenyans on social media have taken to celebrating the demise of Embu politician Swaleh Oswado, with a majority narrating the injustices he did while still alive.
Among Kenyans who commented on Oswado’s death was Advocate Wahome Thuku whose Facebook post opened a can of worms.Influencer marketing courses
He posted a collage photo of Oswado accompanied by the caption;
“Waa, looks like the policeman who took out this guy did God’s work. The online celebration. May he go well. Congratulations Mr officer.
As I told you, never fear celebrating the death of a man who hurt you. Next should be to attend his burial and throw in 10 spades of soil to confirm he is gone,” Wahome wrote.
His sentiments were shared by many netizens who described the deceased as one of the most dangerous people who wrecked havoc in Embu.
Muthoni Kimani wrote;
“Looks like the guy spent his whole life terrorizing people.. his victims are congratulating death for doing Lords work.
Hurúka úhoro mumwo-ní- irí úyú,”
“Embu residents are on a celebration 🍾 🙌 👏 mode right now. If the police feared him, who are we not to fear him?” Taara Ndwiga asked.

He adds that’s his father wasnt good too.

Swaleh Oswado, who was in remand died on Tuesday, August 5, after being shot by police while trying to escape from prison.
Embu west sub-county police commander Vincent Kitili confirmed Swaleh Oswado’s death.
The incident occured while officers were escorting inmates from court back to Embu Prison.
Police report intimates that two inmates sprayed pepper on officers before jumping out of the police van.
Vincent Kitili said Oswado ran into a construction site and armed himself with a machete, threatening an officer who was pursuing him.
An officer was forced to fire at Oswado in a case of self defense.
The deceased kept advancing despite several warnings forcing the officer to open fire.
Swaleh Oswado, was a former ODM aspirant for the Kirimari MCA seat in Embu County.
