Things had gotten out of control in Amani’s house. After Jojo exposed Rachael for sending goons to attack her mother, tension filled the room. Amani was heartbroken to hear that his own mum was behind the cruel plan with a man named Isaac. Jojo didn’t hold back either—she told Rachael that soon Mark would find out everything, and she would face the consequences.
Jojo’s words hit hard, and Rachael panicked. She knew that once Mark heard the truth, it would be over for her. She couldn’t stay in the house any longer. Afraid of what was coming, Rachael walked out of the house late at night, with nowhere to go. It was cold, but she didn’t care. She just needed to be alone.
As she sat outside in the chilly night, tears ran down her face. That’s when Sharon happened to pass by. She saw Rachael sitting alone, shivering and crying.
Sharon stopped and asked, “What’s wrong? Or has Neema kicked you out of the house?”
Rachael couldn’t answer. She just cried harder.
Sharon, surprisingly, didn’t laugh or walk away. Instead, she sat next to Rachael and told her, “I understand you. I’ve also been kicked out before. I don’t know what happened to you, but whatever it is, just breathe. Calm down.”
It was a rare moment of kindness between two women who usually didn’t get along. Sharon may have had her own drama, but for a moment, she chose to comfort Rachael instead of attacking her.
Rachael didn’t say much. She was full of regret and fear. She had teamed up with dangerous people like Isaac, and now it had come back to haunt her.
Now, with nowhere to turn and her secrets exposed, Rachael could only sit in the cold and cry. She had lost the trust of her son, the respect of Jojo, and possibly her place in Mark’s life. And this was only the beginning.
