Juja MP George Koimburi arrives at the Milimani Law Courts following a directive by Principal Magistrate Ben Mark Ekhubi to present himself in court.
He is expected to take a plea on charges of conspiracy, where he is accused of stage-managing his own kidnapping.
Koimburi appeared visibly unwell and was seen limping as he made his way into the courtroom.
His lawyers had earlier cited sickness as a reason for the MP’s failure to honour court summons.
He is expected to take a plea on the charges preferred against him.
