Kenya’s comedy lovers have been having a field day online after content creator Nitta NJ boldly claimed that MC Exodus is not funny. According to Nitta, the famous MC’s signature “eh” is tired, and the real kings and queens of comedy in Kenya remain Eric Omondi and Awinja.
Of course, Kenyans did not keep quiet on this matter. Some defended MC Exodus, while others laughed off the whole debate, reminding Nitta NJ that not everyone has to find the same things funny.
One Jackson weighed in maturely, saying, “I also don’t find him funny but tell me one person in this world who ever did something that impressed everyone? He got his niche and style of delivering his comedy and what matters is he has an audience who finds meaning in what he does.”
But others came with full energy. Patrick shut it down fast: “Who asked you about your opinion? Keep those compliments for your family.”
