The former Chief Justice will on Tuesday, the 15th of July be having an interview with Citizen TV at his home.
The former CJ who has since declared his Presidential ambition has according to experts become a force to be reckoned with many seeing him as a threat to the current administration.
A vocal ODM politician has however thrown cracks at the planned interview questioning why the journalist would chose to go at the former Chief Justice’s home.
Speaking through his official X page, the ODM Legislator has argued that Maraga’s interview being conducted at his home only means that he wants to control the narrative.
“You will find Maraga inviting the journalists into his home and then controlling the narrative for hours.” Stated the vocal ODM politician in his statement.
According to Robert Alai, journalist often lose objectify anytime they chose to interview a politician from the comfort of their home.
“Kenyan media loses chance to hold ground and ask tough questions when they go to the comfort zones of their interviewees.” Read part of the statement by the ODM politician.
In his bold message, the politician has called on the media to avoid holding Interviews at the home of their interviewees.
He insisted that it will only make the journalists fail to ask pertinent questions. “Stop going to the homes of politicians.” Added the vocal ODM politician.
