The upcoming Ngemi Festival in Seattle USA has allegedly witnessed a dramatic surge in ticket sales following the announcement that Kenya’s former Deputy President H.E. Rigathi Gachagua will be gracing the event.
Initially the tickets were priced at $60. The tickets have reportedly now doubled to $120. Despite the huge surge in prices, the tickets are now selling out fast creating a wave of excitement among Kenyans in the diaspora and music lovers alike.
Organizers noted that interest in the festival increased significantly after confirmation that the former second in command will grace the event.
The Ngemi Festival which celebrates Kikuyu music and culture has now become a high-profile gathering attracting not only artists and fans but also community leaders and dignitaries.
