Jackson Njuguna was discovered unconscious in Ruaka on the morning of July 1, leaving many people wondering what happened to him.
His photographs circulated widely on the internet as netizens attempted to identify him, afraid he had been abducted.
However, his relatives stepped forward to deny the allegations and stated that they had been with him the day before the fatal incident.
He was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Kenyatta National Hospital in severe condition.
Mercy Nungari, who broke the news about Jackson’s death, confirmed to TUKO.co.ke that he died on Thursday, July 10.
“I spoke with his aunt, who confirmed the incident and told me he died from his injuries. They were returning home to start making plans,” Nungari claimed.
She explained that the family was in great distress, and that the young man’s mother was so horrified that she could not talk.
“The mother is in so much pain, she has lost all her strength,” she told me. The family is still searching for answers as to what happened to their son, and they are asking that those involved be held accountable.
