After the torching of Kikuyu Police Station, Rigathi Gachagua has made serious allegations against Kikuyu MP Kimani Ichung’wah.
According to Gachagua, MP Ichung’wa is the mastermind behind the incident with an aim of framing the opposition.
During a press briefing on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, Gachagua stated that the attack on a police station was not executed by Gen Z protestors.
Instead, it was a coordinated effort by individuals associated with President William Ruto.
He specifically identified MP Kimani Ichung’wah, a close associate of the President, as the mastermind.
Gachagua maintained that these attacks were not random acts of violence, but rather part of a larger political scheme.
The intention is to provide the government with a legal basis to prosecute the Gen Z protesters.
This revelation is happening after MP Ichung’wa call for the authorities to arrest Gachagua with allegations that he’s inciting protesters.
This is following the looting of business premises during gen Z-led protest.
