Social media personality Purity Vishenwa, alias Prity Vishy, has fiercely dismissed persistent allegations that she is bankrolled by older men, stating boldly that her lifestyle is funded by her own hustle, not by so-called sponsors.
Speaking on Oga Obinna’s show on the night of Tuesday, July 9, 2025, Prity Vishy addressed the rumours head-on, saying that she is constantly targeted with claims that wealthy older men fund her lifestyle, yet those who make the accusations have nothing to show for it themselves.
“Me, they say old men fund me. Let them go and look for that old man, too. Why do they not have the man also?” She asked, sarcastically challenging the logic of her critics.
While she acknowledged that rumours will always follow her, she firmly declared that they do not define her truth.
She said she is aware that people will always chatter and may even, at times, declare her dead when she is very much alive, noting that the sugar daddy rumours are simply another wave in that endless tide of gossip.
“I will not deny because they will always talk. If they say I am dead, true. So if they say I have older men, true. Basically, it is not true, my brother,” she said.
The digital influencer made it clear that everything she owns has come from her own determination and hard work.
“I work for my own money. I sweat for it, oh,” she added with passion, shutting down the claims that she is living off handouts from men.
Dress code
Vishy, who appeared for the interview clad in a tiny black dress that revealed her cleavage and left her entire back bare, was confronted by Obinna to defend whether such a dress code was appropriate.
She explained that she dresses that way for her lover, not for strangers who might admire her when she is out.
On the same note, she laughed off reports that the dress was inappropriate, saying Obinna was merely projecting his own views.
‘I am still a child, oh. No, you have not seen the milk you are talking about spilt after I moved. My man’s food. I call him baby. I don’t do old men.”
