Bishop Muthee Kiengei accused young politicians of disrespecting seniors, pointing to one who allegedly degraded Rigathi Gachagua.

Kiengei quietly criticised the current political climate, lamenting the decline of respect among young people, particularly those in positions of leadership.

MP Elijah Kururia did not back down, clapping back with threatening to disclose UK secrets and made a disturbing statement about the preacher’s prayers.

Tensions reached new heights as netizens took sides, quoting Kiengei, roasting Kururia, and vice versa. Given the time and tone of his words, many people perceived them as being intended toward Kururia. “You can see that there is no more respect.

That is why you might witness a young politician who just graduated from high school, conversing with elder politicians as if they were his peers.

When a young man of about 35 years old begins to address Gachagua, he speaks to him as if he were his age. Even if we don’t appreciate politicians, we should respect parents, Kiengei said in his lecture.

“There’s a scandal in the United Kingdom. Kiengei’s recent trip to the UK was seen as a veiled threat in a post titled “Dramaaa.”

The trip drew notice after the preacher was spotted with Wanja Nyarari and other church leaders. Kururia further questioned Kiengei’s spiritual power, alleging that his prayers “don’t even pass the clouds.”

“I am innocent,” Kururia stated. His posts, which have since been deleted, sparked debate online.
