Kikuyu Business Community has swung to action following the destruction of properties including the burning of the Kikuyu Sub-county Police Station during the Wednesday 25, June 2025 gen Z mega protests.
In a report by KBC TV, the business community has started to mobilize resources to renovate the station which was among the victims of the massive property destruction witnessed on that day.
On a day that was expected to be peaceful with the youths marching the streets in commemoration of their fallen loved ones who died during last year’s anti-tax protests, things turned ugly after police officers started to engage with violence.
Running battles were witnessed as police tried to quel the protest which had attracted numbers similar to last year’s that led to the breach of parliament.
However, questions were raised after it emerged that police officers were cooperating with goons to loot properties and meet violence on innocent protesters.
