Embakasi East MP Babu Owino has demanded the immediate production of missing activist Ndiangui Kinyagia by the Inspector General of Police and the DCI Director.
Speaking during a press briefing, Babu said they have concrete evidence that Kinyagia was indeed arrested from his house by security officers.
“We demand that the Inspector General and the DCI produce Ndiangui Kinyagia. We have the facts an inventory was taken at his house during the arrest to confirm that he was truly arrested,” Babu stated.
He accused the police of engaging in unlawful abductions and warned that such tactics are a direct attack on Kenya’s democracy.
His remarks come amid growing pressure on the government to account for the whereabouts of Kinyagia, who went missing after allegedly sharing details of the June 25 Gen Z protest.
