Road accident

On Sunday the National Police Service lost one of the top traffic commanders in a road accident that happened along the Narok Mai Mahiu road.

The accident was so bad that the officer died instantly in the head on collision impact.

Lawyer Wahome Thuku has come out to allege what the officer was doing that led to the accident that claimed his life.

He said the officer, George Kipchumba was chasing after a car that had defied his orders to stop after he flagged it down.

It is during the heated chase that the commander came face to face with another approaching vehicle causing the accident.

“Narok County Traffic Base Commander, George Kipchumba Rotich has died in a car crash at Duka Moja Flyover. He was reported chasing a Toyota Fielder that failed to stop when he flagged it down.” Wahome said.

Kenyans have come out to question why a police commander would go after a car instead of sending his juniors.

Some people said he had taken it personal and wanted to punish the car wonder personally.
