Tanzanian music star Diamond Platnumz has revealed his desire to have a big family. While speaking during an Afrobeats Live Event in Paris, France, the superstar said he wants to have 10 children.
Diamond joked that even if he has children he is not aware of, his strong genes would always show in their faces. He gave an example of his Kenyan son, Naseeb Junior, whom he described as his exact copy.
“Unajua Kenyan nikona photocopy,” Diamond said, meaning “You know, the Kenyan one is my photocopy.”
At the event, Diamond was seen spending time with other popular African artistes such as Davido, Bien-Aime Baraza, Stonebwoy, and Adekunle Gold. They were captured at a nightclub enjoying casual conversations.
Currently, Diamond has four publicly known children. His first two, Princess Tiffah and Prince Nillan, were born to Ugandan businesswoman Zari Hassan. He has another son, Dylan, with Tanzanian model Hamisa Mobetto, and his youngest son, Naseeb Junior, with Kenyan singer Tanasha Donna.
During their chat, Davido teased Diamond, claiming he has more children than he admits. Diamond responded with laughter, saying he might not know all of them, but they would still look like him.
He also mentioned that he doesn’t want his daughter, Tiffah, to become a musician. He said he prefers to protect her, although his sons are free to choose music if they wish.
Diamond recently posted a photo of Naseeb Junior, showing how much the boy looks like him. He proudly said Naseeb is his lookalike, just with filters.
Diamond concluded by saying, “If you have 10 kids, one can be president. There’s no way you can lose from those 10.”
