Speaking in Sigor Constituency, West Pokot County, during the economic empowerment program for women of the said Constituency, Hon. William Kamket, MP for Tiaty Constituency, used that platform to warn Kenyan Gen Zs who are planning to go on demos on 25th, June 2025 to mark the first Anniversary since they protested over Finance Bill for 2024/2025 that resulted to the killing of a number of them.

In a video that was streamed live on the official Facebook page of Governor Simon Kitalei Kachapin, governor of West Pokot County, Kamket was captured saying that he would ferry Pokot Youth to Nairobi so that they would help the governor of Nairobi County H.E. Johnson Sakaja, to protect the city.

The honorable MP said, this round the government will not be pushed by Gen Zs, they have planned themselves so well in a manner that they’ll make sure, protests in Nairobi never happen. Kamket said.

In the above-mentioned video, Kamket emphasized that Pokot Youth knows how to deal with people who try to cause trouble in the country. To him, better Gen Zs don’t go for the said planned demos. He said.

Kamket made this statement in the presence of several leaders who had gathered there at Sigor Constituency for the above-mentioned economic empowerment program. Among them were; Hon. Kiminini Ichung’wah, President William Ruto’s aide Mr. Farouk Kibet, Governor Simon Kachapin, and former governor of the said county Hon. John Krop Lonyang’apuo among others.
