As reported by People Daily, Moses Kuria, a top adviser to President William Ruto, has stirred political debate after suggesting a possible alliance with ODM leader Raila Odinga ahead of the 2027 elections.
While addressing a fundraiser in Ugenya Sub-County, Kuria referred to himself and Raila as the “two most dangerous politicians” in Kenya and claimed their coalition would be a formidable force that could not be ignored.
Kuria hinted that plans are already underway, saying he and Raila have been silent but are preparing a surprise that could unsettle many in the political arena. He warned rival politicians to be “very worried,” implying that their joint move could push others into political irrelevance.
The statement has added fuel to the ongoing speculation about shifting alliances as the country heads toward the next elections. Kuria’s apparent admiration for Raila signals a dramatic turnaround and hints at major changes in Kenya’s political landscape if such a coalition comes to pass.
