Obinna

Oga Obinna has recently opened up about the reasons behind his professional fallout with Kamene Goro, particularly concerning their attempts to collaborate on digital content after leaving Kiss100 FM.

According to Obinna, the primary reason was a difference in creative visions and Kamene’s discomfort with the harsh scrutiny of online audiences.

He explained that he had a unique concept for their first online episode, a culturally rooted idea.

However, when the episode went live, Kamene faced intense trolling and criticism, which she found overwhelming.

Obinna recalled her immediate and firm response: “I’m not doing this anymore,” despite the content gaining traction and his financial investment.

Obinna attempted to explain that the episode was meant as a joke, but Kamene took offence and refused to continue the collaboration.

He proceeded to post other recorded episodes on his own.

Furthermore, Obinna mentioned that Kamene began focusing more on MCing and other gigs, and gradually, they lost contact.

He clarified that there isn’t animosity or “beef” between them, but rather that she didn’t see the sense in his digital content vision.

Obinna also admitted that his biggest mistake was overtrusting people, especially female colleagues, and he has since learned to expect disappointments.
