Friday, the 6th of June, was indeed a special day for popular Citizen TV presenter Joyce Omondi.
This is because on the day, her husband Waihiga Mwaura, who is also a former news anchor at the Royal Media Services-owned station, officially turned a year older.
Like any other wife out there who is usually proud of the milestones of her husband, Joyce Omondi was also proud of Waihiga Mwaura’s birthday, and therefore she celebrated it in style.
Taking to her instagram account, the voluptuous Gospel musician penned the BBC journalist a heartwarming birthday message, in which she pampered him with love.
“Happy, happy birthday to my Osiep Chunya; kindu wakwa; #theonekeptforme! @waihigamwaura ❤️” she wrote.

As Joyce Omondi celebrates the birthday of Waihiga Mwaura today, it should be noted that the two have been together as husband and wife for close to 10 years now.
According to reports, the talented media personalities did their wedding on the 18th of December 2015.
The wedding actually took place at the Sawela Lodge in Naivasha, and it was only attended by a number of people who were invited.
