The world has changed the past century in more ways than one. The biggest one as far as the genders go is the drive to push equality of opportunities among them.
This has seen men and women compete in the school and the workplace, something that didn’t happen with the older generations.
Men had their paths, women had theirs-a distinction that lasted for millennia. And while it has been great for the progress of society, it has been a challenge in many intimate relationships between men and women.
You see, the things that make men and women succeed in the workplace can hurt women in their relationships-Things like aggression, independence, leadership, and assertiveness, which are considered traditionally masculine traits.
This has caused many women to lose out on great relationships in their personal lives while their careers soar. So what are the feminine traits that make a man want to commit to a woman long-term?
The caveat-This list is made for women seeking to attract men of value and distinction, not jokers.

Agreeableness/Cooperative
A person with a high level of agreeableness in a personality test is usually warm, friendly, and tactful. They generally have an optimistic view of human nature and get along well with others.
This trait is at the top of my list cause it goes hand in hand with submission. While it might be frowned upon, I see this trait as a major one because it shows a willingness on the woman’s part to buy into the man’s leadership. Off course, this doesn’t mean one has to be agreeable to nonsense.
Gentleness
Gentleness describes the way in which a situation is approached and how a person deals with it.
The stresses of daily life never fail to give us the opportunity to feel and act harshly and judgmentally. The ability to step back, and speak with softness and gentleness is a much more powerful way to communicate- a woman who is able to acknowledge that fact is one that embodies true beauty.
Gentleness is the way you see little girls treat their dolls – with feather caresses and sweet kisses, with methodical swaddling and lullabies. It’s how mothers cuddle, soothe, and even discipline their children.
Empathy
The final quality I’m attending to is empathy; remember empathy ≠ servility. Empathy is one of the greatest forces of cohesion that mankind has in its favor. Being able to understand someone else’s viewpoint is integral to healthy communication, which in turn is integral to every relationship whether personal, communal, or global.
Peace-loving
Men don’t love soap operas because of all the dramas in relationships that they normally promote as normal. Most normal and smart men want a stable, peaceful(some might call it boring) relationship. That takes a woman who loves thriving in such an environment.
Even Solomon with all his wives had the wisdom to note the lengths to which a man will try to avoid a conflict-ridden woman when he wrote, “It is better to live in a corner of a roof Than in a house shared with a contentious woman.”
Vulnerability
A man wants a woman who can be vulnerable with him because it shows a trust that she trusts him. It also shows that the woman trusts the man to take care of her and keep her safe.
A person cannot be vulnerable with someone they don’t fully trust and one can’t have a long-term relationship with someone they aren’t vulnerable with.
Unfortunately, many modern women have been told that they should avoid being vulnerable with men because of the potential for pain or heartbreak but it also opens up more opportunities for deeper loving relationships.
There are many more traits but one can’t go wrong with the 5 above.
