The supremacy battle in Mount Kenya has continued to take shape with six leaders now being fronted to become the next region kingpin after former president Uhuru kenyatta handed over the instruments of power to the current leader.

From an update shared by one of the leading publications, 6 names, including three from the opposition, are seeking to replace the former head of state and be recognised as the region’s head.

Among those jostling for the position include a former cabinet secretary who served during the reign of the former head of state Uhuru kenyatta, Peter Munya.

The other two include the running mate to Raila Odinga Martha karua and former sect leader Njenga Maina, who has been seen to intensify his capacity in the region.

At the moment the deputy president has been seen as controlling a huge chunk of the voters who recently voted for President William ruto during the recent polls
